Apple is a few months away from unveiling the new iPhone 8 and as usual the rumor mill is going wild. The upcoming iPhone is expected to feature a 5.8 inch display with 5.15 inches of usable screen space suggested by KGI securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. The lower part of the display is fixed for the so called “function area”, which is assumed to have virtual buttons and maybe an under-the-screen fingerprint reader.
The screen resolution will be 2,800×1,242 pixels -complete screen- and 2,436×1,125 pixels -5.15 inch usable screen-. According to the rumors, curved screen in included in 2017 iPhone, within three different phones i.e two 5.5 inch models and one smaller one of 4.7-inch model.

One of the most significant thing about losing the home button is indication of lack of TouchID, which means that security might be changing. There may be a slight change such as the fingerprint reader embedded in the screen could be replaced with some bio-metric tech like face recognition. It has been rumored that iPhone 8 will cost up to $1000 higher than previous phones.
However, the above features are not confirmed by Apple and wont be until the phone launches which is due this fall.
