An agreement is between Telenor Pakistan and National Telecommunication Corporation, NTC, which states that Telenor will now provide its telecom service to NTC customers.
Abiding the to agreement, Telenor will provide service in those region where NTC infrastructure fails to cover. Service provided by Telenor include internet dongles, mobile phones, 3G/4G network coverage and data service .
After the resignation of former Telenor CEO, new appointed CEO Mr.Wahab Irfan attended the signing ceremony along with Brig (R) Viqar Rashid Khan, MD NTC. The agreement was pledged by the honorable delegates.
NTC remains the the official service provider for the GoP and has been given Integrated LDI License to supply ICT services to the law enforcement agencies i.e Pakistan Army, Defense Projects, Federal Govt., Provincial Govt.
However, its captivating to see a National level Corporation to seek private Corporation for its service.
Managing Direction, Brig (R) Viqar Rashid Khan said that since its start, NTC has provided its high quality service to all the department of GoP. Secure provision of ICT will help the subscriber in automating and in turn improving its management and processes, told MD.
